This class actually turned out to be my favorite class of the semester, no brown nosing intended. My initial idea of what the class would be and what it actually was complete polar opposites. After the first day of class I felt very overwhelmed and felt as though this class was going to require too much reading that I would not be interested in, like many classes do. I was surprised class after class at how I was actually interested in the daily readings and the class discussions. I learned so many different ways to look at certain situations, I have learned to not judge before knowing the entire story, and I have learned that you can take a group of students who have never met, put them in a circle, and discuss these issues and find that all our opinions make sense and are respected.
This class gave me a chance to voice my opinion and I felt like my opinion was actually heard and not just disregarded. I felt as a instructor you really couldn't have done any better of a job this semester, you were always very considerate and had so much knowledge of the subject matter not just what we were reading but from other sources. If I had the chance to retake this course I would not hesitate I loved it.
If I had to say something I would change about the course I honestly would only change the fact that sometimes we would go over the discussions before we would discuss them due to lack of time, I felt as though the issues were better stressed and seemed more interesting when we would discuss each at a time. Other than that this class honestly couldn't be changed for the better it was excellent and I'm really happy I chose to take it!
Have a great summer and good luck with your future classes!
